What I'm lovin...

1. Project Runway. I am obsessed. So obsessed, in fact, that I have signed up for a sewing course in a vain bid to be Thornbury's Next Great Fashion Designer. Ha!
2. Family Guy. Particularly the "Hic-a-doo-la" episode. Obsessive fans will know what I'm talking about. All three of you.
3. The fact that I own the Traveling Wilburys CD. I jumped on that sucker the minute it was out in the shops. Any wonder it's No.1 on the charts with crazies like me around.
4. My new mobile phone. I was a bit sceptical at first, but the fact that I can have The Strokes "Reptilia" as my ringtone and the guitar intro from Pixies "U-Mass" as my message tone has won me over.
5. Ari is not sick anymore. Thank goodness. Last week was a loooooong week...

Jekyll and Hyde? Or Ari and Ari?

What a difference a day makes.
Yesterday, Ari was a perfect angel, as he usually is. Fearing he would freak out getting a hair cut, he was the perfect child - he sat still in the chair, let the lady cut his hair and even admired himself afterwards.
Today, after a night of broken sleep (highly, highly unusual), he's a contrary little boy. He doesn't seem to want to eat much, or behave himself. It's incredibly frustrating as he's suddenly become a little boy I don't know and don't know how to handle.
Worse still, I've had to let him cry himself to sleep, which I hate doing. He just desperately needs to sleep, which is why he's being a little terror. I feel like the worst mother right now, but I know it's for the best.
