King of Budget Style

It occurred to me this week as I bought Ari a few highly necessary new winter clothes from Target that Ari is pretty much dressed from head to toe by budget department stores.
As baby has grown to toddler, the prevalence of Bonds gear has depleted slightly as I've ventured more and more into the heady world of Big W, Target and The Mart of K.
But I'm pleased to say that what hasn't come from aforementioned cheapie shops has been lovingly hand-knitted by his Nanny and Granna.
And I am working on sewing him a few pairs of cords.
There are a few notable exceptions - his lovely new Clarks leather boots for winter (think Indiana Jones. Haven't ever looked at his shoes? Look next time! Indy wears ace shoes!), a solitary pair of Pumpkin Patch trousers bought last year when we were truly desperate and his Threadless tshirts.
Some of our recent awesome cheap buys have been:
1. Very cute flannelette PJs in the generic KMart homebrand. So far they've washed really well and look a treat.
2. Excellent Target skivvies in stripes and a funky green.
3. KMart black hoodie with skulls and crossbones all over it (pictured).
